Web Development Environment in Ubuntu 18.04 VM on Windows

This course is designed to help you build your own web development environment on Ubuntu 18.04. It is a hands-on course, taking you step-by-step through the setup and installation processes.

We'll guide you in installing and setting up both Python and Django environments, which are used extensively in web development. You'll also learn about database installation, specifically with MySQL, and its accompanying tool, MySQL Workbench.

This course will familiarize you with multiple essential software editors, namely Atom, Sublime Text, and Brackets, and IDEs including PyCharm, Eclipse, and Netbeans 8.2. Lastly, you'll experience creating a Bitbucket account and repository, verifying your git installation, and learn how to clone a Bitbucket repository and push changes to Bitbucket.
