As a beginner programming can feel overwhelming becasue of the sheer voulme of things you can do with code. Give yourself sometime (a week maybe?) to build a small project using the technology that you want to learn. And if you dont find the technology interesting you can always move on to other things. That is perhaps the best part about programming, you will always have the freedom to learn new things and explore different technologies. Although, One must be very good at basics such as variable, conditionals, loops etc.
